It’s not see-through skirts. These latest women fashion skirts from Japan are actually prints on the skirts to make it look as if the panties are visible and these are the current rage in Japan .. They’ll soon hit the USA market. They are already available by mail order from several Japanese mail order houses.

I can’t even begin to think what the front view is like on these Japanese “see through” skirts …Think you have seen it all.

Conclusion. I think women look lovely in skirts or dresses rather than trousers, but these are not to my taste. However they did make me think – what ever next!

Just imagine, what kind of accidents can happen if such ladies see through fashion wear hits the streets. People will be walking into drains, cars into lamp posts, buses into bus stops etc. Let’s hope this vulgar fashion does not catch on here!

See Through Clothes from Japan

Sorry folks, these are only digitally altered photos i.e. they are fake products and do not exist (at least not at the time of writing of this article though, who knows, some enterprising manufacturer may market printed skirts like these sometime in the near future*). How can you tell if the photo is fake? Look in the middle photo, all the guys in the background are not looking at the girl in the orange dress – so obviously, she was not wearing the see-through skirt when this photo was taken!

There are similar advertisements in comic magazines that dupe people into buying “X-Ray Specs” which claims that you can see through clothes with these fantastic new x-ray vision spectacles. Such claims have re-surfaced on YouTube recently.

Video Camcorders that can see through clothes

That said, it seems a new breed of “up-skirt” voyeurs have found a way to modify some models of video camcorders with a night vision (infrared technology) feature, and with a special filter, can make clothes “transparent” in broad daylight. It was reported that manufacturers have changed the video camcorders’ night vision technology in 1998 to prevent abuse of the equipment. However, some people seems have found a way to illegally modify the camera and access this banned feature.

This site claims that they know, how with a Sony camcorder ‘TR250PK’ and a KAYA 37mm PF4 lens, you can see through clothes. Have not tried it, so I am unable to verify their claims (copy and paste this link to your web browser URL).

3D Glasses that can see through clothes

There are several other videos on YouTube which claims there are various devices that can see through clothes like the 3D glasses (the type of glasses you use to view 3D movies). These are obviously fakes and won’t enable you to see through clothes.

Cellphones that can see through clothes

On YouTube there are some videos which claims that there is a cellphone software (also from guess where? yes, Japan), which when installed into your cellphone, you will be able to see through clothes with your cellphones. Most of the videos made from these voyeur cellphones are obviously fakes from the way the videos are made. Some “see through skirts” videos featured on YouTube looks like the clothes are really made of some sort of sheer / transparent material (like silk) but not quite like the see through skirt photos featured above.

Breast Scarfs

These see thro’ dresses originates from another fashion idea also from weird “trendy” Japan. They are the so-called “breast scarfs” which are actually inflatable neck rests resembling breasts at the tail end of the travel pillow. These too are currently not available in the market. The breast scarfs were last seen as a limited edition novelty item available at an exhibition stall in Japan. They don’t serve much purpose other than to make people laugh, though religious people may not find anything amusing about these breast scarfs. See picture of the breast scarfs below.

The moral of the story is: check out the item before putting good money down. If it is circulated via email, chances are they may be hoaxes and you should be on your guard.
