AWESOME! I am 100% against social networks for some of the reasons you mentioned above but for the main reason that they are a WASTE OF TIME. Who CARES how many friends you have – do you really know any of them? And more importantly – has this stupid site increased your ability to network socially? I don’t think so. Not if you are sitting secluded at your computer. The generation that relies and thrives on MySpace is going to have a real tough time in the real world when they need to go to a job and interact with people. I wish parents would pay attention to what their kids are doing online – forget about the threat of predators – just look at how much time they are wasting! I’m not saying shut it down – but for Pete’s sake, if it’s not constructive – what’s the point?
